G45 "A Portrait of a Lady" - Mini Album

Sometimes an idea for a project doesn't want to shape in our head, but sometimes the mojo visits and only after looking at ONE something, we get the full and immediate idea about how we want our project to be. This is what happened to me, once I saw a drawer pull.

I purchased that drawer pull a while ago from AliExpress and was sure that it will arrive with shorter screws, which will be just enough to attach the pull to thick chipboard. I was not expecting that the screws will be about 3/4" long.

That’s why I finally thought of using the them for holding the album’s pages and be a base of the binding. A little strap on the side to hold the album closed and a fantastic paper by Graphic 45 finished everything off. I hope you like the result.

Here are some details of the cover:

The inside pages are very simple, just a few cutout from the paper and a photo mat with the photo corners:

I planned to make a tutorial on this album, but than thought that the way of constructing the binding is quite self explanatory. Let me know what you think, because I have a shot video (which still needs to be edited) with the instructions, but I am not sure if it is worth uploading it to You Tube.

Life Is The Flower - Inspiration for 'I Am Roses'

Hello everyone!

One more post from me today and this time for the I Am Roses DT.
I created a card, using the Nature Sketchbook papers from 'Graphic 45' and the 'I Am Roses' flowers:

The links to the flowers can be found below:

Don't forget about the running 'Anything Goes March Challenge', which you can enter here.

Thanks for watching :)

Candy Shop Mini Album for 'Fabrika Decoru'

Hello dear people!

Today I would like to share my inspirational project for the "Fabrika Decoru" design team. I created a 6" x 6" mini album using the sweet (in all the meaning) paper collection called "Candy Shop".

I wanted to use as less die cuts as possible, and as more of the cut out elements from the collection itself, as well as the accompanying flair buttons and chipboards.

Oh, I tried not to use flowers at all, even on the cover:

The album is kept close with a ribbon and has 4 spreads inside:

The frames are intended for holding the 3.5 X 5" photos, and the smaller photo mats will fit the 3.5" X 2.5" pics.

The first spread:

The second spread:

The third spread:

And the last, fourth spread:

I think that this album will perfectly fit for keeping memories of a birthday party or any other celebration which included lots of cakes and sweet things :)

There is a short video overview of the mini album for those who want to better see and understand how the pages work:

I hope you like and thanks for stopping by.

Photo Storage Box - "Beautiful As You Are"

Hello dear all!

Sharing a photo storage box, created with the paper from the set called "Beautiful As You Are" by an Israeli crafter and designer - Sivan Amedi, who owns an Internet store Meme ve Mari

You can purchase anything from the store and pay with your PayPal account, Sivan will take care of the worldwide shipping too.

Here are some close-ups of the cover:

On the back of the box there is a flowery pocket, which holds a few tags:

The box has a rubber-band closure:

The accordion pockets inside the box allow you to either store there a lot of photos, or a few of them, mounted to the photo mats:

There will be a tutorial for creating a box, although in the tutorial I will use the "Midnight Masquerade" paper by Graphic 45. If you like this post, be sure to subscribe to my blog and get the update once the tutorial is ready.
